Teeth. How....trivial.
We don't remember getting them, our first memories of are chompers consist of devouring a pile of strawberries, making your mark in a slice of greasy cheesy pizza, the traitorous pain of biting our little tongues, but they had to get their somehow.
For some babies, or so I've heard, seeming as I'm far from this heaven-nous crowd, teething is a relatively easy, painless process. I couple of fits here and there, a bit of restless sleep, chomping on whatever they can find and the joyous beautiful drooling that gets all over everything no matter how hard you try to contain the moist beast.
But then there are the babies like mine, the sufferers.
Zavier, my son, age 6 months (Today woohooo happy half birthday) began some signs of teething at four months, gnawing on knuckles and his dirty shirts drooling like a faucet. Lately, and by lately I mean the last three weeks (I could count it down to the minute) he has been AWFUL. 3-5 hours of sleep a night, all of it restless, screaming fits, walling up a storm, thrashing and in terrible pain from the erupting sharp white menace. Chewing on everything frozen or not, lashing out on us in pain, screaming inconsolably for what seemed like endless minutes, all to go back to his usual smiley giggly baby self once the tsunami of pain was over. Needless to say we are all exhausted over here, grabbing any chance to snooze or rest, all of us, including Zavier who is happily napping as I speak (Though I'm sure his name time will be interrupted prematurely by another screaming fit) are slowly losing our minds from the creature called "tired".
Yesterday I saw the beast breaking through his tender gums, and noticed another atop his mouth today, hopefully this endless battle will actually end soon enough and we can all go back to sleep margaritas, and lollipops (HAHAHAHA), at least sleep would be nice.
Ahh---I would write a bit more ranting about the trials of teething, but I just noticed both my cats sneaking into his room and if THEY are the cause of his crying burst they will be kept in the closet tonight.

Welcome all my cunning, crafty, carnivorous, celestial.....
...creatures!
I've decided to take up a bit more of my dwindling free time to start a blog of sorts. Blog? I'm not sure if that's the word, more like journal-y, review-y, promoting-y, rant fest of love-- online resource for my activities and opinion that are ranging from very freakin' important to ridiculous-and-why-do-I-feel-like-this-is-important-to-share posts.
I hope you can enjoy my writings as they may reveal a lack of passion at times, but ALAS- I promise you I am not half asleep as I type them I'm half AWAKE. JUST BARE WITH ME.
I'll post my random doings of the day, give aways, stuff about my business, reviews on products of sorts, oh and LOTS and LOTS of baby stuff, I'm serious here, There may just be a bit too much of it but I PROMISE you it's all at least a 7 on the 1-10 cute scale.
Ta-tas for now.
